Not exactly. The 6502 was fully static and the clock could be stopped
either in the high or low state. The 65802/65816 are not static, and the
clock can be stopped in one state indefinately, but in the other state it
can only be stopped for a maximum of 10 micro-seconds. If the RANA card
can Apple 2 can somehow stop the CPU clock (in order to do DMA or something)
then this could be causing the problem.
