	Mark, I never did have any problems printing with System 6.0 so
far.  I've used AWGS and GW III to print long documents of 10+ pages but
never had black lines drawn across any page.  In fact, I think the IIGS,
System 6.0 and ImageWriter II make a very good and robust combination.
	What software are you using to print?  Maybe you can try setting
the configurations for your printer port all to default from the control
panel.
