I'm having trouble writing a script for my friend..

I'm doing an INput command and either it prints a whole string of garbage to
the system I'm on and the string (I do a note &0 afterword) is all !!!!!!!s
or it receives garbage and prints the front half of the note box at the right
middle of the screen (so it goes off the edge) and the second half at the top
of the screen (so it comes on through the edge of the screen) or it doesn't
do anything.

In any case, I'm trying to do this..

print 'l e s^m'

wait for a reply that says

  Name (spaces to column 21)  xxx,xxx (+xx,-xx)     then stuff I can ignore.

The Xs are numbers and the first 2 numbers can range from 1 to 3 digits and
the the second two can range from 1 to 2 and can be + or - (this needs to be
recorded recorded).

I then need to process this in one of two ways, either printing

fi xxx,xxx a

or

fi +xx,-xx

The + and - are not set, they can be either depending on where the ship I'm
scanning is.

Example of data I need to use.

  ENVINCO            237,370 (-6,+0)        +51.8%    6.0kk      3

I need to either print 'fi 237,370 a' or 'fi -6,+0' (actually just '0' would
work but that would be more work...).

Can anyone who can get PT's macros working suggest a solution?
