Hi, all. I just recently bought MusicWriter from Pyware, and aside from it
being slow (even with Zip) and crashing most of the time and not properly
handling graphics output, It's not bad. I'm having fun with it but it
stinks for playing back what I write and my keyboard isn't powerful enough
to handle more than 6 notes at a time.(It's only a yamaha.. That I
borrowed, yeah.. that's it..) anyway, somebody please tell me there's a
way to take a MIDI file that you make and translate it to SynthLab. I know
SynthLab has it's own sequencer, but it's a pain, and you can't edit much
at all. That's what's cool about MusicWriter is that you can edit anything
you want, it's just not going to sound that great until you have excellent
instruments(ala SynthLab(which by the way is an incredible sounding
program!)) So I'd like to make it in MW and playit in SL. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.. Even if not SL, SoundSmith or NoiseTracker
translation would still open up a bigger world of sound.... Thanks.
