Considering a move from GEnie to AOL. E-Mail comments may be best
in view of my questions. Then again, it's always nice to have some
on-line discussion for anyone else or to compare opinions (-:

   <> Month/hour rates (2400 vs 9600 - Which is more economical?).
<> Customer Service (fast & friendly, both on-line & phone?).
<> Navigation software - What it does well & not so well, &:

       * Completely automatic? Can it be set (via system clock)
to logon by itself & do its thing?

       * Collect & save new topic msgs to read off-line?

       * Ability (off-line) to select a name while reading msgs,
address a letter for you & have the E-Mail uploaded
          during the next logon?

       * While reading (off-line) msgs, the ability to create
          unlimited replies in any topic?

       * Delete or ignore categories/topics w/in an area BEFORE
          collecting new msgs?

       * Mark collected info (off-line) to archive into a
          subdirectory?

       * Collect & save new library uploads?

(These questions are based on my current autologon program for GEnie.)

AOL demo disk is on its way. The real BIG issue is how best to make
the MOST out of using that demo? Having some inside tips may provide
a better snapshot of how AOL really is. For example, how do I tell AOL
(inside the Mac area) to ignore all previous msgs (new to me, as a 1st
time visitor) & collecting new msgs upon my next visit? How to I get
quickly to the Mac area, how to I select/ignore specific topic areas to
visit, & how to I reply to msgs?

 Much thanks...
