thin lines - the answer
Hello c.s.a2,
Maybe you remember the "mega thin line" discussion - I asked the many
out there how it is possible to draw GraphicWriter III-style lines.
Thanks to Code Burger's stubborness (aargh), we've found the solution
today. If you're interested in the simple solution, just read on.
First of all: many sent me tips, and almost all based on the idea to
play with the display rectangle. And that was correct! I've tried this
method, and it didn't work because there's one thing you should pay
attention to: don't halve the vertical display range when printing
because that "kills" all lines (round-off of the 0.5 pen). instead
_double_ the vertical coordinates when _recording_ the picture and then
print the picture in condensed mode. This small difference decides
whether you will see fantastic, thin lines on the paper or absolutely
nothing.
bye bye,
henrik
BTW: The MicroPizzaFest 93 was great . . thopugh we've changed it into a
MicroMovieFest.
