multitude of questions

wow! finally fiured out how to get on here!  Hope this goes through.

I have a bucn of quick question I have been pondering for some time.

1. Does D. Lyons still support Davex and what if anything has been
written new since version 1.23?

2.  Is there a decent P8 shell that will support telecomm commands
to a super serial card or hayes compatible and work under davex?

3. is the novation company still alive? and if so where can I get a hold
of them?

4. Sometimes when I power up my Apple IIe my sider 10 meg HD will not
fire up and I have to switch the whole system on and off a bunch of times
before it all comes on?  Is this common?  everthing is in one powerstrip?
