Can GS power a fan?

Hiya there y'all...

I have a question I'd like to ask...and it's pretty obvious from my
subject line. :)  I've noticed that my GS (It's an upgraded //e) has a
power connector (or what looks like one) that's labeled "FAN" on the
motherboard between the RGB and Smartport connectors.  Can anyone
elaborate more on this connector, and what it's for?  I was thinking
that I would like to get a small fan from Radio Shack and hook it up to
this "power connector" so that I could get some cooling for my GS. (I
just acquired an Transwarp and sure could use the cooling!)

Please don't refer me to any manuals or whatever, I don't have any, and
if I did, I'd have already checked 'em.  Reply to me on this group or
