Re: Anyone else using the Apple ][ Emulator for the IBM?
Dear Ade:
I am programmers from Russia. Now I am working on the programs
for Bulgar computer Pravets-8A. It is a full copy of Apple
][e. I really write me program on emulator for IBM PC, because
it is more pleasure. But my emulator, written someone with
name Randy Spurlock, have some deficiency: it does not supply
mixed screen modes and so on and it have some problems with
diskdrive. Maybe I have old version.
In organization where worked my friend there are net between
Pravets-8A and Pravets-16A (The last computer is pitiable
image of IBM PC XT but it supply IBM PC 360K Disks!). So
I have a Apple disk image on IBM PC. I may send it you but
because of the high cost of communications for me it would be better
if you send me emulator for exchange.
Are you agree? If so send your answer. Attention!
Communications between Russia and the other world is very slow
and unreliable. Now I have access through USENET only to 2
newsgroups: comp.sys.apple2 & comp.binaries.apple2
You may also send short messages (say less than 2K) to my
Internet address: vlad@inmedt.msk.su

To all users of Apple ][:
I have shortage of infomation about Apple systems. I found out
only 2 books by Apple that was printed in Russia. I would like
to get answers on next questions:
- What is the difference between Apple][e,][c,][gs,]I[ and the
others?
- What other newsgroups concerning Apple][ are avialable in
USENET?
- What is *.SHK files and how I can decode them or get program
for their decoding?
- Where can I get some software for Apple ][e, such C or
Pascal translators? It is desirable without payment.
(There are problems of currency converting).
Thank you all in advance!
Vlad.
