Re: Shadow Ram
Marc,
The problem of an error with "No Shadow Ram" is probably because the
program which I gather is a game, is trying to allocate the shadowed Super
Hires Buffer at $01/2000 However, this buffer is not always guaranteed to
programs, and it is reporting the error becasue it can't use it to do the
faster graphics that you can do with Shadowed memory turned on.
How are you launching the application? Is it an S16, or does it boot
on its own disk?? You will have to be more specific about what the computer
has been through and what could have grabbed the memory in that area before
I can help more. Im thinking that the tools may have grabbed the memory, and
then he cant reallocate it and panics..but I'm can't be sure.
