If it's rarely read, it shouldn't be--there is a steady trickle of
postings that are of interest to many Apple II enthusiasts.
Most news readers, and Google Groups, make it trivial to check a list
of newsgroups, so the three active csa groups and comp.emulators.apple2
seem like a fairly minimal set to watch.
I do agree that no hardship results from posting just about anything
vaguely Apple II-related to csa2, but there is some value in keeping
the other groups active and relevant--otherwise, they should be dropped.
Allowing a group to languish invites hijacking, as was the case with
csa2.binaries.
