POWER SUPPLY
TO: GROVER THOMAS
From: GROVER THOMAS
| There may be another, less-elegant solution for some people:
| Pull out the power supply, stick the wires through the now-open hole
| where the power cord used to go, and plug it all back in. Now the
| power supply is behind your GS, instead of heating up the innards.

KJ> I posed this question on the A2 (Apple) echo...so far, only a
suggestion that setting the PS outside the gs case might create
problems with grounding.
Q1> I have a spare AE heavy duty power supply for an Apple //e,
which I wish to use in an Apple IIgs, after removing my Vulcan 40
and adding an external HD to the gs. I have 6 1/2 cards installed
in the gs, plus a 3.5 and 5.25, so I think I'll need the extra
juice. Is this possible? Do you have a suggestion? KayJay
