I'm not too sure about AudioZap, but anything that can read forked
files should do OK.  Sometimes you need to "adjust" the sound a bit
(Zeros at the beginning of the file will stop the sound, even before
it is executed.)

I don't think the IDEA of the Sound CDev is 'stupid' (although the
implementation might be better, so it doesn't use up so much memory).

I use mine as sort of a secondary warning device, like when I accidently
move a file into the Trash's window instead of another folder.  With
appropriate sounds, the Sound CDev can be quite useful, actually.
Now my wife knows the difference between 'Bad Input' and a simple
warning, since the sounds are distinct (instead of Bonk Bonk Bonk
like older system disks).
