Define "best" ? Are you after ease of use, performance, price ?

The "assumed partition" behaviour of the CFFA makes it a doddle to set
up.

The Focus seems to be faster than everything except the uncommon
TurboIDE card, but partitioning is only supported on the IIgs for the
moment

The Microdrive has firmware limitations that require it to re-read its
partition table limiting overall performance a bit.

IMO, none of them stand out as the 'best', it depends on what your'e
after...
