Wanna buy a hard drive. Q: SCSI or IDE????

Can someone fill me in on the significant differences here between SCSI
and IDE???  I wanna buy a hard drive, but I don't want to be stuck with
something down the road that I can't upgrade from or won't be compatible
with whatever I MIGHT buy in the future sometime....  Thanks.

Notice that I said I want to BUY one;  THIS college STUDENT is actually
smart enough to know that ya can't get 'em FREE via ftp.....  :)

I AM, however, still concerned with price...
