Nope, sorry... Posting to the net and then asking for answers via E-mail is 
not a good thing, so I'll answer here.

Look in the current issue of inCider... there's a new product announcement in 
there, but keep in mind that those announcements are prepped by the 
publisher of the software being announced.  This means there's a three month
lead time and a lot can happen in three months.  

Last I heard the program was due out in December, there was no mention of
year.  :-)  Seriously, from what I've been told and seen, Prism looks to be
a pretty good way to convert GIF's for use on the GS.  That said, it's supposed
to support TIFF, too, but I've heard Prism doesn't really do a primo job on
pictures with many colors.  

As far as your other questions, go, welp, Ron Mercer is on proline so perhaps
he'll read your message.
