Re: rom 1 to rom 3 upgrade

Well, I'm sure your mistaken. I've heard about a skipped "ROM 02"
prototype, yet it was never released in ANY version of the IIgs, unless you
saw the prototype ROMs. My ROM 3 came directly from Apple Canada, and I even had
the chance to visit Apple Canada's main office in Montreal, trying out a number
of cpus (all were clearly marked "ROM version 3"). There were a few Canadian-
ROM 3's that have the ROM CDA's (visit monitor/memory peeker) locked in with no
way to disable them (according to Jim Ferr), but they're certainly not ROM 02s.
Btw, the it's offically called the "ROM version 3", not the "ROM version 03".
