I don't feel sore. I guess I heal quickly:)
He called it a "mistake" saying that he had tried to set-up a prepay for US
customers but that ebay had not worked the way he expected and had excluded
non-US customers.
Anyway, Amart's website had a price of $0.00 for these when I checked which
also seemed peculiar... another "mistake" perhaps.
My mistrust of ebay sellers runs deep. I recently clawed-back a US ebay
purchase on a commodore 128 through paypal for inability to deliver. I also
had the same thing happen with a Canadian ebay seller (on an Apple II GS and
some other goods) and I had the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) visit
the flake and practically stand over him while he finally shipped after
several months. I've had some other crappy experiences with ebay sellers as
well as some good ones (it hasn't been all bad).
Caveat Emptor is not my biggest complaint with ebay sellers however. It's
the reluctance to ship to Canada. I always see neat stuff that I want and
the seller often will not ship here.
