Need to connect IIC to car (lighter plug) possible?

Hi
	I was wondering if anybody has had any experience running the IIC with
the plug in a car. I know that some sort of converter is needed but is that all?

I remember there was talk of this a little while back, but if anybody could 
remind me of the outcome, if the IIC  be truly "portable"

Also, i am still looking for a place that ofers the LCD screens for the IIC
if you have one, or you know of a place, please tell me! thanks
