Unfortunately, this is true of almost every newsgroup.

I've been through a couple of computer orphanings already and, in
retrospect, all the whining didn't accomplish anything. It would
have been much better to just support and use the machine than to
rant about how idiotic the parent company's marketing was or to
fanatically go on about how my computer is superior to all others
ever developed.
