I'm posting this for a friend who no longer has access to these news
groups, so please send all reply directly to him, instead of posting them

Thanks.

G'Day.
After many years of successfully using a //c as an all-purpose home
computer, I picked up a second-hand ][e (unenhanced) at a computer auction
(at an amazingly cheap price, too). However, it contained a number of cards
I am unfamiliar with (my previous contact with ][es was over six years ago,
and they always had Apple cards in them).
One card that is giving me problems is the CCS 7710 Rev. B ASI. My
Point-to-Point manual tells me this is equivalent to an Apple Communications
Card, but rerfers me to the card's manual for instructions on setting the dip
switches to adjust the baud rate; said manual was not amongst the
equipment/manuals I obtained at the auction. Can anyone out there send me
a table of dip-switch settings for this card? I assume the switches set
a high speed and a low speed, but this is only a guess. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. I'm not able to access netnews, so please reply
to the e-mail address below.
Thanks.
