Keep in mind that Computer Shopper gets hundreds of advertisers, while
A2-Central has never carried advertising (I subscribe to both, so I
know what I'm talking about).  Advertising allows Shopper to be such a
bloated magazine, yet still keep a reasonable sticker price.  When
readers have to foot the bill (as is the case with A2-Central), it's a
totally different ballgame.  If you want to spend $50-$100 a year for
an A2-Central printed in 4 process colors on heavy, glossy paper, go
ahead--make my day.  I'll keep buying the current issues at ~$30 per year.

Are you sure you're not?  That seems to be all you do in any of your
posts to this newsgroup.  Nothing is ever good enough for you.  If the
Apple II world isn't hot enough for you, why don't you go out, buy
yourself a 486DX2-66 EISA local-bus system, hobnob with the computing
elite, and forget that there is a newsgroup called comp.sys.apple2?
The rest of us will keep our Apple IIs--and have a blast with them.
