Ramfast/DirectDrive 80 Meg Help

Since you are upgrading, it must be safe to assume you have a Rev D
Ramfast!
(I couldn't resist) :)   The 1 Meg upgrade can be purchased through Alltech
Electronics (800/995-7773) for $45 plus S & H.  The jumper block is to
specify whether the Ramfast card supplies terminator power or not. If the
jumper is in place, the card supplies terminator power. If the jumper is
not
in place, one of the devices on the SCSI bus must supply it. In most cases
it
does no harm to leave the jumper in place. One notable exception is some
Sider drives. Read the documentation for more details.

The Ramfast can be quirky.  Go into launch Ramfast.system and choose the
SCSI
utilities from the menu. Choose the device that is not showing up from the
left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, check to be sure
the drives are marked as being ACTIVE with a "Y" in the far right column.
If
there is an "N" there, click on it then quit and reboot. That should do it.
