AutoArc vs HardPressed

I just got the AutoArc demo, and to tell the truth, I am a bit
disappointed. Andy, mayhaps you can tell me if HardPressed does a
might bit better job than A.A. does! When packing a folder, such as
AppleWorks GS, each file in the folder is packed individually. When
it comes time to run AWGS, only the main file is called and unpacked,
and then the program crashes. I would have liked to see AA check
to see if AppleWorks.GS was in my archive, and then unpack the
whole durn archive and run the file. As it is, I could only unpack
the file that I want to address, and that doesn't save that much
room in most cases. (Especially games - the things that would most
likely be compressed.) Does HardPressed handle this any differently?
How about TrueType Fonts? Another good candidate for packing. I
don't use a lot of them, but want them at my fingertips for when
I need that "perfect" typeface. With only a 20 meg HD, space really
matters to me on my /system partition.

Anyways, if someone is associated with Econ, maybe you can console me
and tell me that if the demo was as good as the real thing, then
noone would buy the real thing, and that these problems have been
fixed in the release version. But more likely, I think maybe you
can take back some of these ideas to make AutoArc just a bit more
friendly. :-) Otherwise, I like it!
