Hi there. I was wondering if anyone is interested in discussing some of the
really old games for the Apple II.
Has anybody ever played Beneath Apple Manor? Written by the guy who
wrote the Beneath Apple (Pro)DOS books, Don Worth. I've never seen
the game and am curious.
Captain Midnight
Time magazine once had a cover article on computers, and there was a
sidebar which featured the author of Captain Midnight. I think the
sidebar actually gave some assembly code, to show how "difficult" it
was to write a computer program.
Bruce Lee
Got yelled at in high school bio class for discussing this game with a
friend who had it on his C-64. Heh.
I'm sure almost everyone has played Taipan and used the infamous "cheat".
For some reason Taipan reminds me of the old Basic game Hammurabi. I
had the greatest fun with Hammurabi for a day, and Taipan for much
longer.
