Heres some info from the flyer:

Significantly faster font generation saves you time.
(the filling ball is gone!)

Uses less memory.

Automatically adds fonts placed in the Fonts folder.
(Add and remove fonts just like GS Fonts!)

Font display in 12, 18 & 24 point sizes.
(Now it should be easy to browse for the font you want)

Keyboard equivilent display for every character in font.

When adding multiple font files, or multiple fonts in a single file,
Pointless 2.0 now highlights which fonts were added.

Multiple font selection in the font list allows several fonts to be
removed at once.

Name navagation in the font list with System 6.0

TrueType exclusive Preference option allows you to specify whether
Pointless should use both TrueType and bitmapped fonts, or TrueType
fonts exclusively.

Definable styles for TrueType and bitmapped fonts in the Font menu
(i.e. you can make TT font name outline and bitmapped bold)

Nothing said about bug fixes, but one has to assume that known bugs
were addressed.

I would say this is a MAJOR upgrade.

And for the few flamers out there...
No, I dont work for WestCode. I do believe that companies that still
produce software of this high a caliber should be supported so they can
continue to support us.
