<sigh> This is both to you and to the gentleman who developed the DOS 3.3
loader (John MacLean, I believe... forgive me if that's inaccurate...)
I support GS programs (and all Apple II programs, for that matter!) as much as
possible... but there are some that I either simply don't have a use for, or
B) I may think are nifty, but I don't have the time/memory/disk space/pick
something to use... While I may still pick up some software I think is really
outstanding even if I don't need it, I don't have enough money to do much of
that... maybe one day I'll get an inheritance from an uncle I didn't know I
had, and be able to give more support of that nature, but I don't anticipate
it... The problem right now being that I don't use MODs or DOS 3.3 programs...
That being the case, as much as I dislike to see an Apple program go by the
wayside, in your case, there wasn't anything I could do to help with the code
shortage problem (but I'm glad is remedied -- Thanks Ian!), so there wasn't
much point in me writing just to fill your mailbox saying "Gee, I wish I could
do something, but I can't". Only developers might be able to do something for
you...
*Don't* get discouraged if you don't get a lot of feedback on stuff like
this... there will be *lots* of people that any given item does not apply to,
and of the ones it *does* apply to, most won't write anyway, from lack of
time, lack of interest, etc. Even folks that (heresy!) don't read
comp.sys.apple2! :)
There are lots of folks who are really interested in keeping the Apple II
alive -- that's why The Alliance is doing so well...
Remember that, and don't get discouraged from lack of feedback on stuff, eh?
:)
