My GEnie LiveWire that arrived today says:

A subscription costs $9.95/month. Incoming mail is included, while
outgoing mail is charged to your GEnie account at ONLY
$.40/message. So, have your internet friends mail you, however, don't
get carried away mailing to them. Seriously, if you receive and send 10
messages/month the total = $13.95 = approx $.70/message. Pretty high
when you consider U.S. Mail or your favorite long distance carrier.
