Yeah, you have to pay both ways. I'm not signing up for this gateway
because if some fluffhead on the Internet wants to waste lots of my
money he can just send tons of mail my way and I have to pay. That's
silly. The outgoing mail cost I can accept since if it was free,
you'd have GEnie users sending files from the GEnie system to their
Internet accounts and downloading them free! (I only wish :).
Incoming mail should be in the same class as Uploads: free.
The other problem with GEnie (which has nothing to do with the
Internet gateway) is that it has a slow response time, at least my
node does. I've complained and it got better for a while but it still
is slower than accessing the Internet through 2 different machines
concurrently (which is how I get on here).
