This is getting to be too much. Look, I don't care what you post, but think
before you do it. I like the capability of 'vn' to pass over posters who's
names I haven't seen at least a dozen times. Why? Because that means they
usually have their mouths open before they really know what's going on.

I believe it was either Andy or Dave themselves who said there will be no
***MAJOR*** system software releases for the AII. That means System 7,
not 6.01, or 6.1 folks. That means that they will not be rewriting 50% of
the code over from scratch, not that they will not be adding to it or
improving it. Pardon my french, but get yer God damn heads out of your
fucking asses and think for a minute. *WHY* are you here? When you post
"Duh, I know nothing really, but I want to sound important so I'll say
that Sculley is the root of all evil, and the Apple II has been condemned
to burn in hell..." and on and on...

Now, lets look at the truth. Jawaid has made some excellent points which I
will not repeat here. You can read, so look it up. There are many many many
more fine examples of new software being written. Get on #AppleIIgs and
ask some time. Write e-mail to Rich W about DeskTracker, or Ian S about
his newest music platform. Check out what 'waid has done with GNO lately.
Companies like Bright and Dreamworld produce updates as often as shit
squirts from your ass. And from those posts, I would say it's pretty often.

Hardware not consistent? How many types of IIgs's are there? Hmmmmm... There
is the AppleIIgs Rom01, and the AppleIIgs Rom03 (anyone with a Rom00 is
their own damn fault). Now, lets see just how many types of 286 clones there
are, and measure their degrees of compatability... Get the picture buddy?
Whatever you think it is that you are trying to prove, you should get the
facts before you go spouting out all over the net. You look like a fool my
