You can get the source or binary for my coff utility and TeX the manual.
It has a complete description of the OMF format. The description of OMF
is also in the GS/OS reference. If you have any questions about OMF, let
me know and I'll try to help out. If you don't have TeX, I can mail you
the manual if you give me your postal address.
The merlin linker will allow you to include binary files while linking.
I don't know if you can reference the data by using a label though.
Read the READ.ME.S file on your Merlin diskette.
