Virtual Reality on IIe

I was wondering if it was possible to do with the IIe what others have
been doing lately with the Amiga, that is, set up a crude VR environment
with genlock and some other hardware and software.  I'm not even sure
what hardware and software are required for this on the Amiga, but if
anyone could help me figure out if such a thing is possible on the IIe,
I would greatly appreciate it.  Cost estimates for the Amiga, with
neccesary hardware and software, totals around $1000 or so, so I've
