All true, however, if you say, "DeskJet 500," the story is much
different. It has the fonts on-board. In addition, it provides
wonderful output if you get SuperPatch 8.x from Quality and print
AppleWorks Classic documents. In addition, both the Seven Hills and
Vitesse drivers work well for 16 bit programs. (Only Seven Hills by
personal experience.)
