No, that is the problem.  It has a MATSHITA CR-173 CD-ROM drive.  In
other words, CDs only.  Catch 22. ;-)

On a better note, great job with Sweet16.  I am currently running v2.1
on a G4 flatscreen iMac (1.25Ghz) 10.4.11, and a G5 iMac (1.8Ghz)
10.5.7.  That is probably about as far as I go with OSX.  I understand
that the awaited 10.6 Snow Leopard won't run on G4s and G5s. :-(
