Well, the 1st Mt. Keira Fest has come and gone in the blink of an eye.
However, some cool stuff was witnessed, and on behalf of everyone in
attendance, I think I can safely say that everyone had a good time and
either learnt something new, saw something new, or dreamt up something
new. ;-)
I was particularly impressed by David Morrisons ATAPI driver (TRON)
which allows any Apple II read access to regular ATAPI CD and DVD
readers. Also impressive was a demo performed by David Wilson showing
off an upcoming piece of hardware designed by Ferdinand Meyer-Hermann
which allows you to attach a regular HD 3.5" floppy drive to an Apple
II (with Prodos and DOS3.3 support). But there was plenty of other
cool things witnessed and details will be posted soon.
If no one beats me to it, I'll attempt to recap the goings on at Mt.
Keira Fest tonight when I get home. However, until then, you can scan
the Mt. Keira Fest twitter page to get an idea of the stuff we got up
to:

I thanked them in person, but I'll do so again now - thanks to Andrew
Roughan and David Wilson who did most of the organisation of the
event, and also thanks to Jonno Downes whose idea it was in the first
place. Thanks guys!
Over and out.
Cheers,
Mike
