In the 80's, I operated an Apple II GBBS for a local users' group. I 
adopted the sobriquet "Tyrant of Known Space", conflating Piers 
Anthony's _Bio of a Space Tyrant_ series with the "Known Space" topos of 
Larry Niven, et al. No one was surprised when the Kensigton fan 
immolated itself, taking the serial card with it. I'd since been 
plotting my return to power, but the internet supervened.
