Eduware, eduwarez and the Apple ][

I've been picking up a lot of eduwarez lately, off Asimov and from the various collections people have been putting up of MECC, DLM, TLC, Spinnaker etc. software.

It got me to thinking.

I'm already setting up an Eduwarez collection, and considering work on an Apple Crunch disk devoted specifically to Eduwarez. I'm also thinking of creating a collection, if such can be assembled, of free, open and PD (or even self-written) eduware, which may be of use in various settings.

I'm good at coming up with initial ideas, and actually trying to code the stuff probably will be mostly within my grasp, but fleshing out the ideas is not my forte. :/

I was asked - Why on the Apple ][? Two reasons:

1. Low denominator. Almost anything out now can emulate it (even the DS, which I have and use exclusively for emulation!).

2. I grew up with the Apple //e and //c, and want to pass on the experience. (I actually own a //e but it's a bit beat-up.)
