Thanks Rob and Bill. The link to "ActiveGS.plugin.zip" works correctly
this morning. I'm guessing it was a little cache latency on one end or
the other.
One anomaly I see on the home page <http://www.virtualapple.org/>: The
<head/> says, "<title>Virtual Apple ][ -- Version 4.3</title>", while
the <body/> says "Version 4.4".
I had already installed v2.3.319 BETA of the plugin from the support
page, and there's no problem with graphics and sound. Mouse tracking
occasionally gets out of synch on scrolling games like Zany Golf, but I
see it's a little touchy in other emulators, too. Keyboard input appears
to work for IIgs programs, but not for //e disks; I tried ABM, Alien
Typhoon & Spare Change, but couldn't get past the initial prompts.
