Antoine,

Have you tried removing *all* expansion cards from the //e prior to
turning it on? If not, thats a good place to start - this will verify
that it is not one of the cards and/or what they may be connected to
causing the problem.

Also, by the "red LED blinking" you mean the one on the motherboard?
