I use a combination of Virtual ][ and Applescript on MacOS X to give
me 'integration' of Merlin/EDASM into my editor of choice (GNU Emacs).
The same trick could be pulled for ORCA development if one of the IIgs
emulators supported AppleScript.

Alternatively, if Marinetti support was added to GNO/ME, you could use
rsh to achieve the same thing, and it could even be made to work on a
real IIgs!
