I am looking for someone who can read AppleWorks 3.0 files off 5.25
floppy disks and either burn the files as PDFs onto a CD or print them
(which I can scan). The AppleWorks files are elementary science
lesson plans developed in a Science Institute for Teachers offered in
1987, which I directed. The lesson plans were originally distributed
as a collection on 8 floppies, free of charge, to interested teachers.
The lesson plans are in the public domain domain, so there are no
copyright issues. As I remember, there are about 65 files -- lesson
plans and some introductory materials -- spread across 8 floppies.
Surprisingly, after 20 years, I am receiving inquires about the
availability of the lesson plans from science educators and teachers.
I would like to be able to place the lesson plans on a web site or
distribute them on CD, but first I need to gain access to them, again.
Thanks,
Pete
