I modified the ROM in one of my IIe systems so that it attempts to
boot from slots 1..7 instead of the usual 7..1. This was so I could
have the SCSI card in slot 5 and not have to hit reset to bypass the
Disk ][ in slot 6. If the HDD was not powered on, the SCSI card would
return to the monitor boot scan routine. The Disk ][ ROM does not have
enough space to allow it to do this.
