From the messages I've seen you post in this thread I think you are missing a big part of the problem. This isn't just someone putting up a copy of the A2History site. The person who copied it has modified it so that it looks like they wrote it.

In my opinion, that is the thing that makes this such a nasty thing to do and I say go to his ISP and have them make him take it down. If he doesn't, they can discontinue his service.

Actually, I think I do understand all the heinous aspects of the case.

And I have repeatedly said that I also understand the very negative
reactions.

I'm just suggesting that the offender may be badly mistaken rather than
"evil", and that some communication might set him on the path to
providing an authorized mirror as opposed to an unauthorized copy.

You never know for sure until you try.

Outrage is not always the most productive emotion.  ;-)

BTW, if the offender persists in "counterfeiting", then I also agree
that getting it taken down is reasonable.
