Ask away. It doesn't/can't boot from the ProFile. The video system
can emulate the II, but has lots of other modes as well. There's
several books online in various places - most of what Apple ever put
out in terms of documentation. The Apple Pi SIG DVD is pretty
comprehensive (http://wap.org/a3/). I've hosted the WAP's public
domain disks here: http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/apple3.html

I wrote a brief description of the boot sequence for Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_SOS but the most complete and
authoritative info on low-level stuff comes to us from John Jeppson:

Indeed. Maybe we can work something out.
