I remember it well. At that time my father's business was just the
next door down. It was run when the Canadian copyright law had a
loophole that allowed them to operate. They set themselves up as a
"computer club" and were allowed to share copies of cracked software
with club members at $5 per disk. They also had a PC repair business
and sold Microcom Apple II clones.
