I am watching an ebay auction for a zip chip 8000 //e without any manuals or
packaging or anything... it's already up to $110.99 USD and it's not over
for another 16 hours or so. I am grateful for mine and don't plan on parting
with it, but interested to see what they sell for these days...
Once upon a time I might have participated in such an auction. Things
being the way they are now I can't justify the expense. I can get by
with the GS or 2c+ for speed. Should I really need the software to run
AFAP I'll just use an emulator such as Apple Oasis or Applewin. Gotta
save that cash for the Carte Blanche card. :)
I wonder though if it would be possible to create a cache accelerator
cpu replacement using an FPGA?
