In 1987 I was in year 8 (8th grade) and we had to write a short story 
for our English class. My story, "The Samurai Breakout", was submitted 
in a cardboard cover complete with a screen shot of Akuma from Karateka 
(along with a coloured-in book title). The whole story was typed on my 
dad's old Apple II+ clone. I still have it around here somewhere, I must 
try see if I can dig it out. It was a good read, especially seeing as I 
was only 14 at the time. IIRC I think I scored 18/20...   :-)
