My impression was that he thought that Complete Pascal (my site at
least) had been posted for years (since the 90's) when in actuality
the software (v2.0) had only been rediscovered relatively recently.
His final email was quite sincere, I think initially he felt like he
had to play hardball since he didn't know who he was dealing with.  I
politely obliged to his request and everything was copasetic.  If I
were in his shoes and wanted to have some software removed, I might
have approached the situation in a similar manner.

I'm hoping we can at least get the most recent documentation and maybe
someday the source, but I get the impression that Vince is a private
person, so we should respect that and tread lightly, not pushing the
issue too much.
