Timing won't be an issue. We are working with huge margins so a ][+
is OK. The problem is that it doesn't have a built-in 80 column mode.
So while the 80 col mode will still be available on  the CB, you need
some sort of a driver. For example you can put CB into slot 3 and
make a block of ram look like a ROM in $c3xx.

Who will write a driver? Not me.

For a II+, using a popular 80-column card, like the Videx, seems
the most appropriate solution, since II+ software generally
supports it if it supports 80-columns at all.
