You could be right, LISP and Prolog are *very* similar IIRC. I'm no expert in it either as I mentioned (in fact I hated it when I had to use it).
Haven't even heard Prolog mentioned for quite a while. But I remember that I read an article in BYTE circa 1988 about a wonderful new language "Trilogy" that according to the author combined the best of "C" and Prolog and would soon become the only computer language left. Well, anybody ever heard of it?
I've certainly never heard of it. I'm guessing it didn't take off as well as the author of that article predicted. ;-)
